Philosophy / Mission
Most of our relationships with food have been established early in our lives. We eat not only because we are hungry, but for many reasons: food tastes good; we laugh with others over food; we share experiences, emotions, celebrations, and time over meals and snacks.
When we break bread, we do more than fill our bodies, we nourish our whole selves.
Stacia's approach to teaching nutrition to clients works with these relationships. Her goal is to counsel and educate people within existing behaviors and established practices so that dietary changes feel comfortable and positive.
No matter what the nutrition related issue is, it is important to get information from a trained professional. Education should incorporate not only the what and why but also the how to adopt new habits. It is Stacia's responsibility to work with each individual to figure out how to best incorporate new eating habits into their lifestyle in a way that is comfortable and suits the individual.
